Tafarn Bach
Tafarn Bach - open from April
Tafarn Bach is nestled amongst the wilderness of the LLŷn Peninsula within the site of Bach Wen in Clynnog Fawr, Caernarfon.
Community is at the heart of Bach Wen, and our mission with Tafarn Bach is open to people local to the surrounding areas. With many amenities closing down over the last few years, we believe it is our duty to support where we can. Bach Wen and Tafarn Bach are becoming a large part of Clynnog Fawr and beyond, not only through employment but also as a place where people are welcome and can come to drink, eat and enjoy the natural beauty which the site has to offer.
We are thrilled to be reopening on Friday evenings from April 11th 2025, where we invite both the local community and guests to join us in the bar.
We will be serving a diverse assortment of drinks and food, so whether you’re local to Gwynedd or staying with us, you can enjoy a few drinks and delicious food most Friday evenings throughout the Spring/Summer months. Local Chef and owner of ‘Rainbow Eats’; Mandy Farrer will be serving up a diverse menu each week. *Please note we recommend pre-ordering to guarantee your choice of food at the time you want it, but it will be possible to order from the menu on the night (may be a more limited choice and as all prepared fresh there may be a longer wait).
Enjoy everything from fine wines to Aperol spritz and local spirits - Welsh whisky too!
Enjoy everything from fine wines to Aperol spritz and local spirits - Welsh whisky too! We will be serving a selection of local beer from the Cwrn Llyn Brewery and cider from the Pant Du Vineyard, with plenty of non-alcoholic options on offer.
As well as the large barn and bar, we have a vast area of outdoor space and seating overlooking the sea, perfect for whittling away the hours on sun drenched evenings.
